Opening Thoughts: Obama is our president right now but I just would like to say that I do not approve of what he has done so far. In the future I want to be an elected official and do good for my community and maybe, if I can clime up all the rungs of the Political ladder, my nation, as a whole. I made this site so people could find out a head of time, my ideas on current issues affecting our nation today My Concerns: I am just a young US citizen who is very concerned with the way this nation, that I am very proud to be a part of, is going. With a corrupt Congress and a confused President, I am very scared for my future as a US citizen. With a rising debt and deficit, and wasteful spending on the rise, I see our nation going bankrupt soon if this doesn't stop. I want to make a good and powerful difference in the future to help get this beautiful country back on track to pro spire with wealth and job creation in a bi-partisan and compromising way. Only pay attention to the top number, this is our current national debt, and as you can see that number is rising at a rate of $3.8 billion a day, If that isn't shocking to you I don't know what is? We need to cut on Obama's goverment waste and start getting real! If you don't know this already, Obama's health care plan will cost around $1.5 trillion. Please tell your congressmen and congresswomen to vote "no". Reform is needed but not when we have no money to pay for it. A nightmare is occurring, and if we don't act fast this nightmare will soon be reality, join me and help me fight back to bring this country back on its feet after the fall it has witnessed for so many years. On November 2nd 2010 there will be the midterm elections with at least 36 senet, all house seats, and 36 gubernatorial seats up for grabs!!! Even though I am still to young to run for office you should, who are old enough, should get involved in supporting canidates who ever you support the most. |
