The Economy- This issues is very complex, so here is my simplified solution to a healthy economy. First I want a flat-tax, each american will be paying the same present of taxes to the federal government (low of course). Before we get into anything else I need to get to the toping of spending restraints, with out them nothing will get better anytime soon, cutting spending and putting limits on our spending is a way to a sound economy along with tax cut, you cant do one with out the other or else the true effects of the one will not be shown with out the other. I do not believe that taking money away for Americans work is right, so I want to see the income tax disappear, putting more money in your wallet. More money in your pocket means more people buying products, and that means more jobs. For job creation, I would like, this may seem crazy, give a bailout out to the small businesses of america, we talk about big company's that are to big to fail, but what about the small businesses, they are to big to fail! Small businesses make up over 2/3 of jobs in America. Not only do I want a bailout for all of them in america, I want to give them huge tax breaks so they can at least make some kind of profit. But with all of the tax breaks, you may ask 'How is the government going to make money?' we need to exporting a lot more to other countries. Like China and Mexico, we need to work and sell our goods and energy to other countries. We need to strive for energy independence, we need to drill off-shore, and tap in to shale oil fields in the Rocky Mountains, and use natural gas in northern Alaska. All are energy sources we can trade with other countries and produce some for our self of course, and it will also create jobs for thousands of Americans. States & Power- I believe that our federal government has grown so much. So much that it is taking away the rights of our states and local governments. we are nationalizing way to many things. In the past, states could make their own decisions on all sorts of things like: energy, healthcare, and food production. Most of the things states can do have changed. Now, we can't do much unless it involves helping other states, its time to look back at our Constitution and restore state rights! Drug War- Mexico is where most of the drugs are coming from. Since we are currently in the process of bringing troops back from Iraq, why not put them on the border of Mexico and why not try to fix and restore the existing fences and walls creating thousands of jobs in the most southern parts of the United States? The border control needs some back up, the war on drugs is just way to big for a small department in the US. We also need to decriminalize Pot, Marijuana is the most common drug smuggled in to our country. By decriminalizing it, the value of the drug will be much much lower than now, and if we just not tax the hell out of it we will start to make profit from the drug, the people will rake in more cash and they will spend all the cash stimulating the economy putting money back in to the hands of people is the way to go. But I do think we should impose a tax on medical marijuana. We need to tap in to the medicinal purpose to pot, the only reason there is no "scientific" proof it has no benefits is because it has been illegal , halting the public from actually researching its possibilities. Now on to hemp. Hemp has many many way of usage, it can make bio fuel, paper, and cloth. I don't get why we cant produce such a gifted plant with many uses in our own nation. one it will help the economy through exported energy and materials made from hemp, and only because it is a strain of cannabis make it illegal, both likes are connected. Not only are the soft and hard drugs coming from Mexico we can't forget about Canada. Canada also delivers drugs in to our country. Not nearly as much as Mexico, but I would just like to see an increase in the amount of people we have up on the north border. Healthcare- Health care in this country defiantly needs reform, everyone agrees on that, but we need to work together to get this system working the way it should. On the people side no on the side of special interests and greedy politicians. We need to fix Tort law and regulate costs down to an affordable rate, lower premiums and to make sure that health care is affordable for every one. Government doesn't need to make a whole new system they only need to fix the current system. how will we accomplish this? with input from actual doctors and honest lawmakers working together to make a plan that will not only work but will be in-expensive. Energy and climate- I first would say that strongly do not belive in global warming, I never did, but I do think it is vital that we do all we can to look for other sources other than oil to supply our energy, because once its gone, its gone, I feel it is very important to start production of nuclear power plants in this nation. We currently have 104 nuclear power plants operating in the U.S. But nuclear power isent my only solution to make long term solution energy, we also could mass produce solar power in the south west deserts. The deserts of our nation are perfect for solar power. But I do support drilling off-shore and drilling more around the United States but I cant help but notice that we dont really even try to make shale oil. There is alot of it and so I ask why not? We also need to tap in to the trillions of cubic feet on Natural gas in the Alaskan north slope. If we know that it is there and geologist proved it, than whats the hold up? 10 years of clean energy right there!!! Not to mention the other resources we could use instead of food to make bio fuel. The Wars Iraq: I Consider the Iraq war, a mistake war, We had credible evidince that Sadam Hussein was constructing WMD's. But the truth was that there was no WMD's. But now we all know that President Bush diden't handel the war very well and Obama isen't doing much better. but befor President Bush left Office he made a deal with the goverment of Iraq to have all troops out of Iraq buy the end of year 2011. We need to now work around this time frame. Insted of pulling troops out of major citys I would have liked to pull 50% of them out of small towns/ villages, waited till things to die down and then pull out of all towns / villages in start or mid 2010. Keep troops in major citys till the start of 2011 and slowey decreas the numbers of troops as the year goes along and be out of Iraq 1 month to 2 weeks befor the due date. But I will always see this war as a war that was not to be but unfolded to be a great dissaster in american history, but once we are in a war we need to finish it and that is what I would like to see. Afghanistan: In Afghanistan it is very important that we win, This is where the Taliban has made there precence know and it is preety obvious that they dont want to leave any time soon. we can enact a possible plan to come up from northern Pakistan (with the permission from the goverment). Right now we are just pushing the talliban south, and we dont want that. We want to corner them in from all directions and attack from all directions to. Soon after a few years of fighting we should have many members of the Taliban killed off makeing the area safe for living, for all woks of life that thrive there. the terrorist deserve to die, we are in Afghanistan because of the tragic events that happened on 9/1. if we loose in Afghanistan than we lost and gave up on the nearly 3,000 who died on 9/11 and the hundreds killed defending that promised to keep our country safe, but they would have died for nothing but the honer of serving our country only hoping they died for the greater good. We need to avenge there lives and every life still in service by winning in Afghanistan. National Security- The United States has one of the bigest and most powerful millitary in the world. With threats coming in from terroe groups all around the world, we need to be on our "A" game and not forget what has kept us safe for the last decade. One thing I think we can all agree on is that after 9/11 George W. Bush kept America safe from another attck. We need to capture militants and than interogate them. the only way we will know of things is if we get information out of the ones who sponsor terror. I say, enact the tactics that Bush put in place and get the terrorist befor they get us. Marriage- No where in our constitution, marriage is never mentioned. so I don't see two why people can't be married to who they love. I would like to see same-sex couples get married and be happy just like a straight couple. I don't care what sex they are, they have the right as a human being to be happy and love who ever they want. Abortion- I am Pro-life and I find abortion wrong and cruel, I will only accept abortion if the mothers life is threatened from the birth of the child. I do believe that once the seed and egg have fertilized it is too late, you got pregnant whether it be a mistake or not, you are a mother from that mother on. Abortion in my mind is legal murder! Natural Disasters- Our nation need to be much more pre-pared for what ever mother nature brings to us. FEMA's first big test was Hurricane Katrina in 2005. They did a horrible job of handling the situation. I would like to see new and smarter people for the government to work with. People should have access to help as soon as possible. One thing we can't control is Mother Nature and she will do her worst to test us. Guns- Having the right to own a gun and protect our selves with such gun is in the Constitution. We need to keep guns out of the hands of people with mental disturbances and violent and convicted criminals. I want better back round searched no matter how long the customer wait is the public safety always should come first.
